For most amateur golfers, putting is less a skill than a psychological horror film with grass. I’m fairly sure I’m not alone when I say I’ve never met a 3-foot putt I couldn’t somehow miss.
Naturally, like most golfers, I continue to cling to the deeply irrational belief that the problem is the putter and not the person holding it. So, with the confidence of a man who has learned absolutely nothing, I ordered yet another putter.
For decades, I avoided putters with inserts, convinced they were forged in some dark corner of the underworld. But desperation breeds… well, more desperation. So here we are.
Does it work? On my 15-foot Prime Putt mat, the early testing is promising. But the living room is not the real world, and the golf course has a long history of exposing my lies.
As for the product itself, it’s a demo with virtually no signs of wear. The putter and head cover both look essentially brand new. Amazing condition.
