Crafted as the compact cousin of the Phantom X 11 with inspiration from the Phantom X 5 as well, the all-new Phantom X 9 enters the line designed to suit the eye from address with a new shape that fills a key role in the family. With its precision milled solid stainless steel face and wings integrated with a rounded 6061 aluminum flange-sole component, this near-face balanced mallet’s unique profile delivers a “connected” look at address and offers excellent alignment and high-MOI in a clean and compact shape.
Set up for stability through the stroke including a revamped Pistolero Plus grip with a decorative, non-slip texture, this new model with its single bend shaft and clean sight line is built to streamline setup and increase confidence.
Scotty updated the Pistolero Plus grip offering with a new, non-slip, decorative texture that, like its predecessors, has less taper in the low hand for the ideal combination of size, feel and feedback.
A clean topline in conjunction with a single milled sight line painted dove gray on the dark flange provides confident alignment when paired with the subtly sculpted milling marks designed into the metal.
The stepless steel shaft has been engineered to minimize face rotation—or arc—in the putting stroke by incorporating a single “mid” bend aimed directly down the target line.
